Hailing from Tuscany, this amazing extra virgin olive oil has been created for decades by a simple squeezing of hand picked olives that have been freshly gathered and cold pressed. Magni is fruity in taste and has a slightly spicy finish with a light golden green hue. It contains less than 1% in Oleic Acid and because of its versatility, Magni is an excellent choice for use when making sauces, finishing meats, grilling vegetables, and topping off soups.
This oil is obtained from the olives, the fruit of the olive tree, using exclusively mechanical and physical processes such as washing, decanting, centrifuging and filtration and in conditions that are such as to ensure that the oil cannot be changed in any way. This excludes oils obtained using solvents or re-esterification processes as well as those mixed with oils from other sources.
The unmistakable pungent flavor is a result of the abundance of polyphenols, powerful antioxidants to which modern medicine attributes a fundamental role in defending the organism from oxidation and cell aging.
