Our organic Earl Grey combines robust and fruity Thai black tea with mellow, caramel sweet Yunnan Dian Hong. This original blend perfectly complements the floral high notes of geranium and rose found in our first-pressing bergamot essential oil.
Blueberry Hibiscus refreshes with the tangy-tart character of hibiscus, the sweet succulence of Great Lakes blueberries and the complex floral accents of wild-harvested schisandra berries. Known as the five-flavor fruit, schisandra berry has a long history as a traditional East Asian tonic and anti-stress tea.
The Pacific Northwest peppermint variety is prized as the most aromatic, soothingly sweet and potent in the world. Rishi’s pure peppermint is grown near wine regions like Yakima Valley, in microclimates that are perfectly suited for growing peppermint with a naturally sweet, rich flavor and euphoric, heady aroma.
This classic black tea is the namesake of Charles Grey, Britain’s Prime Minister during the 1830’s. After saving the life of a Chinese nobleman, the Earl Grey received a gift of citrus blossom-scented tea traditionally known as Tai Tai Cha. Tea salons throughout Europe replicated this blend by perfuming black teas with the aromatic oil of Italian bergamot oranges. Thus, a timeless tea was born.
Jade Cloud is hand-harvested in early spring when the leaves are most tender, delicate and sweet. More sweetly still, this Fair Trade green tea provides healthcare support, access to education, and other improvements to the livelihoods of over 1,200 tea farming families in the Xuan En Tea Co-op in China’s mountainous Hubei province.
Jasmine is China’s most famous scented tea. Jasmine trees first arrived in China from Persia during the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) by way of the ancient Silk Road. The sweet fragrance of jasmine tea can only be created in the traditional way, involving nine stages of scenting to deeply infuse the tea leaves with the aroma of fresh jasmine petals.
