The entry in the mouth is sweet, with a moderate bitterness and gentle spiciness.
PUGLIA REGION
This is a range of typical oils from different regions of Italy obtained from the most precious varieties of olives and characterized by pleasant fruity flavors and fragrances. Its unique characteristics have been recognized by the Denomination of Protected Origin D.O.P., which indicates superior quality and guarantees the local origin.
At the end of the 19th century, Lorenzo had purchased the beautiful estate of San Lorenzo ai Colli. There he started a prosperous farm devoted primarily to the cultivation of valuable olives, namely the three typical Sicilian cultivars: the delicate Biancolilla, the savoury Nocellara and the robust Cerasuola. The blending of these olive varieties creates a sweet, aromatic oil with the unmistakeable taste of the first pressings of October, an affectionate tribute to the work of his ancestors.
Hailing from Tuscany, this amazing extra virgin olive oil has been created for decades by a simple squeezing of hand picked olives that have been freshly gathered and cold pressed. Magni is fruity in taste and has a slightly spicy finish with a light golden green hue. It contains less than 1% in Oleic Acid and because of its versatility, Magni is an excellent choice for use when making sauces, finishing meats, grilling vegetables, and topping off soups.
